Lindsey Corey

Lindsey joined the NRHA staff in 2008. She is responsible for the organization's printed and electronic publications as well as media relations.
She previously managed magazines and other communications and marketing projects for universities and served as a newspaper reporter. She has won national writing and marketing awards.
Lindsey earned an executive M.B.A. from Benedictine College and a B.A. in journalism from Northwest Missouri State University.
Maggie Elehwany

Maggie joined the NRHA staff in 2007. She is the head lobbyist for the association and is responsible for the Government Affairs and Policy department.
She has 14 years of federal legislative experience. She previously served as health counsel to U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, a member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, and to U.S. Sen. Frank Murkowski, a member of the Senate Finance Committee, where she worked on comprehensive Medicare and Medicaid legislation. Maggie also served as counsel to former U.S. Senate Finance Committee Chairman Bob Packwood. From 1999 to 2005, she served as assistant director of congressional affairs for the American Medical Association where she advocated on patient and physician issues.
Maggie earned a J.D. from the University of Oregon and a B.A. from Oregon State University.
Amy L. Elizondo

Amy joined the NRHA staff in 2006 and oversees grant-related activities, educational events, the NRHA Quality and Border Health initiatives, the Rural Health Fellows Program, emerging issues in rural health, continuing education and technical assistance for State Rural Health Associations.
She previously served as the primary analyst for rural health care and post-acute care issues for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' Office of Legislation. She also worked with stakeholder groups to promote initiatives, including the Medicare prescription drug benefit. Amy also worked at the Health Resources and Services Administration's Office of Rural Health Policy and Project HOPE's Walsh Center for Rural Health Analysis.
She earned a master's of public health degree from the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Rural Public Health.
Tim Fry

Tim joined the NRHA staff in 2005. He lobbies on behalf of the organization and is in charge of all regulatory matters. In addition, Tim speaks at conferences and works with the NRHA Rural Health Congress and NRHA Government Affairs Committee.
He previously traveled to South Africa and Zimbabwe studying food aid on developing societies.
Tim earned a B.A. in history and political science from Hope College.

Angela joined the NRHA staff in 2008. She is responsible for updating the organization's membership and developing and circulating promotional materials.
She earned a B.A. in English from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Meaghan McCamman

Meaghan joined the NRHA staff in 2006 and began working in programs services in 2007. She coordinates activities associated with grants, manages continuing education program processes and serves as staff contact for the Journal of Rural Health.
She earned a B.A. from Guilford College and is working on a master's in public administration degree from George Mason University.
Rosemary McKenzie

Rosemary joined the NRHA staff in 1984 and coordinates the NRHA annual minority conference activities and sponsorships.
She also develops, coordinates and implements projects and activities related to rural minority health issues, grants and contracts.
Rob McVay

Rob joined the NRHA staff in 1986. He oversees the daily financial and administrative operations of the organization.
He previously worked for a public accounting firm and a mutual fund brokerage.
Rob earned a B.S. in accounting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Estelle Montgomery

Estelle joined the NRHA staff in 2006. She is responsible for the marketing and promotions for all conferences and organizational initiatives, the development of member services and retention and recruitment efforts.
She previously worked with Kansas Public Radio, the University of Kansas Policy Research Institute, several political campaigns and with legislators at the Kansas State House.
Estelle earned a master's in public administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a B.A. in political science from the University of Kansas.
Alan Morgan

Alan Morgan joined the NRHA staff in 2001. He serves as a policy resource for the national media, as well as a presenter at both national and state health conferences.
He has more than 17 years experience in health policy development at the state and federal levels. He has worked for former U.S. Congressman Dick Nichols and former Kansas Gov. Mike Hayden. Alan's health policy articles have been published in multiple health journals.
Alan earned an M.P.A. from George Mason University and a B.S. in journalism from University of Kansas.
Geno Poarch

Geno joined the NRHA staff in 1999. He records NRHA financial transactions in the accounting system and performs day-to-day accounting functions.
He previously was employed at the Internal Revenue Service and the Visiting Nurse Association of Greater Kansas City.
Geno earned a B.L.A. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Ali joined the NRHA staff in 2007. She provides support for legislative and regulatory activities.
She graduated from the University of Virginia with degrees in religious studies and bioethics.
Kathy Siress

Kathy joined the NRHA staff in 2001. She is responsible for the site selection, pre-planning and on-site logistics for NRHA's educational conferences. She also coordinates all of NRHA conference trade shows and exhibit halls.
Before joining NRHA, Kathy spent 15 years in catering and convention management with a four-star hotel company and a major city's convention and visitors bureau.
Brock Slabach

Brock joined the NRHA in 2008. He has administrative responsibility for all areas of member services, including membership, communications and meetings/exhibitions. He also coordinates the Healthcare Quality Technical Assistance center.
He is a hospital administrator with more than 21 years in a rural hospital. He has been on the Board of the National Rural Health Association, the Regional Policy Board of the American Hospital Association (and served on many regional and state boards involving rural health.)
Brock earned a master of public health degree in health administration from the University of Oklahoma and a B.S. degree in biology from Oklahoma Baptist University. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Jennifer Wilkerson

Jennifer joined the NRHA staff in 2008. She is responsible for general administrative duties and assisting the staff at the Kansas City office, as well as being the primary contact for conference registration.
She previously worked for the University of Missouri Women's Center, the Leadership through Education and Advocacy for the Deaf Institute Crisis Line and the KC-BEST Health Research Study.
Jennifer earned a B.S. in psychology and sociology from the University of Missouri, and is working on a master's in public administration at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
